Panda huffed every step of the way. "Squawker cannot walk. Panda knows its obvious. Liars are bad bears." He trudged to the river and dropped her on the ground, figuratively out of breath. He was the cutest little boy... He just didn't have much stamina. Meanwhile, back at the scene of the attack, Crevan decided he could take a nap. Albeit he was completely exposed and it wouldn't be that hard to kill him at all, he didn't really care. He didn't have energy at all and he also didn't feel like dealing with this predicament at this particular moment.

Rena sighed when they got to the river. "Thanks... for that..." Taking a deep breath in and holding it, she slowly out her leg in the river and she cried in pain involuntarily. "Holy...!" She cut herself short reminding herself there was a little kid right next to her. "crap..." She couldn't decide if the cold water felt refreshing or completely horrible against her leg. She washed off the blood hissing in pain every once in a while.

Panda nodded quietly. He began to listen and flopped. D.E.D. - Detect enemies, destroy. It was good. He liked that strategy. Although he really shouold be back by Papa now just in case something decided to ambush him. He really hoped not. He loved his Papa Bear. Other bears just weren't the same. Why couldn't he have a Mama Bear? Papa was just not the loving type... Apparently...

Rena lifted her leg out of the river and set it gently on the ground. Great... now she just had to set it... Hmm... she wasn't quite sure how she was going to do this... But she had to try... Taking another deep breath, she positioned her hands and with a snap she set it back in place with a short scream.

Panda looked at her quietly. "More are coming. Like your screams." He said this quietly, looking back toward Crevan. Hopefully they hadn't gotten him yet. Hopefully. If they had... "Papa will die." He said this with a hurt look in his eyes and looked to Squawk. He glanced at her leg and motioned his head toward Crevan. "Go now? Peas?"

Crap... Stupid leg... Stupid involuntary scream... Stupid zombies! UGH! She just couldn't get a break, could she?! Rena nodded. "Yes, we can go... You go ahead to make sure Crevan is alright. I'll catch up." She stood up and started limping in the direction Crevan was. She hoped he was okay... She didn't waste her shirt for nothing.

"Okay Squawk I'll come back for you." Panda took off as fast as his little legs would carry him to Crevan. Hopefully.. Ohmigawd. Where was he? "Papa?" He llooked around. "Papa? PAPA?" He wasn't anywhere around.. had he gone home? No! He couldn't have.. could he? Not with his back like that. Panda ran back to Rena. "Papa nowhere! Help find Papa! Help find Papa! Please!" Panda was desperate. He needed his Papa Bear.

Rena was almost half way to the spot where they had left Crevan when Panda came running back at her. "Wait... What?! Are you sure you looked in the right spot? How is he gone?! He can't walk with a back like that! S--Crap! WHERE DID HE GO?!?!?!?!" Rena looked around and took a deep calming breath. "Can you take me to where your hide out is?Maybe he somehow made it back there..." He better have...

"But he can't walk. Papa was injured badly..." Panda sniffled and picked her up, taking her back to the hideout. "If he isn't here... If..." He started crying as soon as he got done with the sentence. This sucked. Papa.... Papa was... Panda sobbed. Damn things!

She blinked. He was... crying? she never did well when people around her cried... It always made her feel like crying with them... darn her emotions. "H-hey..." she said steadying her voice, "I'm... sure he's there... He's one tough cookie. He can handle his own... He's just... in the hideout... waiting for us to come back... yea... that's it..."

"Ch-check!" Panda sat down outside, fighting back his tears as well as the urge to eat her alive. Hmmpf. This wasn't really worth it, was it? If Papa was dead, he could eat squwaker, be full, happy, and find a new Papa Bear. But... She could be his Mama Bear! That'd work better! Hmm... Let's see... Nah. Papa was definitely better.

Crevan came out of the bathroom, wincing. "DAMN! My back hurts! THIS SUCKS! Where's Panda? Is he okay? Any zombies show up?" The man walked outside, walkign straight so he didn't hurt his back. Panda ran up to him and hugged his leg. "PAPA! Panda thought... Panda thought you was DEAD!" The little boy sobbed. Crevan patted his back reassuringly. "I would NEVER do that to you, bud."

Rena's good knee almost gave out from underneath her when she saw Crevan come out of the bathroom. 'Thank God' she thought to herself. She made her way to the two and glared at Crevan. "You had m-...Panda worried sick!"

Crevan picked Panda up and he stopped crying, whimpered once or twice, then flung his arms around his neck and started crying again. "Panda, you're a boy, so stop boo-hooing. You're gettin' me all snot!" The boy stopped crying and pulled back, not wanting to be the literal definition of a snotty little brat. "And, Bird, what are you tryin' to hide? It's obvious you were worried about me too!" If that girl denied it, she was going to be in for something worse. Much, much worse.
