JB growled, seeming to understand the insult. Sandon chuckled. 'Well you see girl... JB is DEFIANTLY not a goldfish. He's... Well... Different. Let's just put it that way. And he most defiantly doesn't like fish flakes. He'd rather eat fresh meat." This girl was really this blind? That'd stink...

Echo crossed her legs daintily, completely ignoring the preceding growl. "Now look, dude, I'm not scared of your idiot mutt dog thing. Try to feed me to him if you like. I'm just curious as to what buisness you have around here. That's all. Perhaps, if you told me, I could somehow help you? I need something to pass my time with. I'm constantly bored and being bored. So, I suggest you be nice, and allow me to help you. That's a much better alternative to making me an enemy." And that, as they say, was that.

Crevan sighed. What a smart-butt. Thinks she knows eveything... "Fine. I'm here because I am. Not like I have anywhere else to be. And for my reason of being here, I would say that would be my own business, but seeing as though you'd continue to bug me about it, I might as well tell you. I research zombies. There you go."

(LOL! Sandon!)
Echo gave him a look. Not a look that could be defined, just a look. "You... research zombies? Like, what kind of zombies? Do you like, kill them first? How do you do it? What do you reasearch about them? Do you perform experiments like some mad scientist?!" She had been wholly consumed by her curiousity. It wasn't necessarily a good thing, but it was... there.

(Ha! OOPS! i'll call that a super fail on my part!!! Stupid men... They're all the same ) "Yes, all of them, sometimes, but then on the other hand like JB over there, I keep them alive so I can study them, everything, and yes, but I prefer the term 'evil' scientist." Sandon rambled quite fast, hoping she caught it all. He had no intention on repeating any of it.

(Lol most are programmed the same, at least.)
"You're a creep." That was all Echo was going to say. This random guy that she had literally stumbled across was an evil scientist? What were the chances of that happening? Slim to none, most likely. Though, there was something peculiar about him. No wonder he reeked of death, he exposed himself to dangerous undead creatures a lot. Crazy guy was probably going to be dead in a matter of months, if not years.

"A creep? Why thank you. I'll take that as a compliment." Sandon said promptly before scribbling some notes down on an old piece of paper before putting it away into a cabinet to his right then sitting down in his spinney chair again. "So now that you know my personal information, will you leave now, I have better things to be doing then baby-sitting a blind bat that keeps bugging me." Simple enough, right?

Echo tilted her head to the side. What was he talking about? A blind bat? "Bats aren't truly blind, you know. They just don't have very good eyesight. They see by using echolocation. I trust you have a vague idea of what that is. Seeing as you feel the need to abuse your privilege of having me here, I'll be going anyway. I don't want to be around Miss Negative Nancy herself anyway, in truth." Bratty kid. She didn't need him to be around. The girl stood and began to climb up the stairs. It was slow and steady progress, once she figured out how tall and long the steps were.

Sandon did a mental 'YES!!!'."I'm not pessimistic. I'm a truth finder! Stupid, nieve girl. You have no idea. If you weren't so dang annoying, i could probably help you out. But if you're going to be like this, just forget it." Although it would be nice to have something new to study...

"I think it's rather obvious that I am, in fact, not naive." Once she got to the top of the steps, Echo realized that she had, in fact, lost track of the door. She couldn't very well find a way out if she couldn't even find the darn door! This was a stupid day, and it was all that kid's fault. Everything was his fault, as far as she was concerned.

Sandon leaned against the wall next to the stairs and looked up at her, smirking. "Right. Not naive; just blind." he called up after her. He watched as she just stood there. 'What's the matter? Can't find your way out? Isn't that a shame." He tsked, and shook his head.

Sure, offer her some sarcasm, but no assistance. He wanted to keep her trapped here, as a prisoner. Echo felt around the wall, trying to be sure not to knock anything off a shelf whilst trying to find the door. "Some help you are.." She mumbled, taking a step back and examining the area. It was the light glinting off the door knob that let her know of the door's presence. She opened it and walked outside, taking a deep breath.

Aww... he had scared her off. too bad. Now he wouldn't get a chance to study her. He sighed and ran a hand through his red hair. Climbing the stairs, he followed her outside. "Alright. You can stay if you want, okay?" Even if he was evil, he supposed it wouldn't hurt to help someone ONCE...

Echo turned around and looked at him. Why the sudden change of heart? If she did stay, she'd have to nbe sure to be cautious and thoughful. This man was dangerous; a true threat to her life. "What makes you think that I'd like like to stay here? What's in that for me?" The answer to that was absolutely nothing, assuming.

Sandon almost burst out laughing. Was she serious? Hiding a grin behind a hand to his mouth, he managed to talk normally. "Well... Where do I start? For one thing, you would be inside instead of out. You wouldn't have to worry about zombies eating you, and you also would be fed properly instead of scavenging around for food. Need I go on?" You think she'd more concerned considering how she couldn't see very well.
