You were standing in the wake of devastation
And you were waiting on the edge of the unknown
And with the cataclysm raining down
Insides crying "Save me now"
You were there, impossibly alone...
And you were waiting on the edge of the unknown
And with the cataclysm raining down
Insides crying "Save me now"
You were there, impossibly alone...
Cataclysm. Humans turned to Zombies by a whacko disease. Just don't let them latch on. You won't like it very much. But some... some say the zombies can feel. Can they really? Are they more human than we think?
Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?
You build up hope, but failure's all you've known
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go. Let it go...
Turns out, they aren't just in it to kill us. Can we cure them? Why do they still harm us? Is there any way we can find out? Some feel bad. Some don't care. They don't belong on this wrecked, demolished planet. Thanks to our ancestors, we have nothing left, really. Sure, it'll slowly come back, but some areas have been completely destroyed, like trust.
And in a burst of light that blinded every angel
As if the sky had blown the heavens into stars
You felt the gravity of tempered grace
Falling into empty space
No one there to catch you in their arms...
Trust. A hard thing to come by. Can you trust anyone these days? No strings attached seems to work better. Teams just don't work out for some reason. But oh well. It'll all be alright.. right? At least, that's how some of us feel. Others... Well, they don't.
Do you feel cold and lost in desperation?
You build up hope, but failure’s all you’ve known
Remember all the sadness and frustration
And let it go. Let it go....
Today, we move on. Today, we try to live our lives. Today, things could change for the better. But will they? Can they? Is it possible? I guess we'll find that out.
Let it go...
Let it go...
Let it go...
Let it go...
